Daniel is a highly focused, driven, experienced and successful entrepreneur and business professional, with over 25 years’ experience in starting, funding, developing and running his own successful technology related businesses, both private and PLC.
A creative and innovative leader, Daniel has over 15 years of experience in Digital out Of Home Advertising Screen Networks and was one of the Pioneers with the advent of Digital Signage in the UK. Responsible for Digital Screen Media rollout projects for his clients comprising 250 sites for Carphone Warehouse; UK & European deployments for L’Oreal, Diesel, Next Group plc, Specsavers and 02 and providing Digital Screen Media Consultancy to various companies including Deutsche Bank.
Jawad’s experience extends over 25 years and spans Mobile Telecoms, Digital TV platforms and the Digital Out Of Home (DOOH) sector. He specialises in new company start ups, business development, sales management and commercial roles. He has also run his own businesses.
He has a proven track record in bringing new products successfully to International markets including launching, trading and managing new digital products, often for new businesses, operating at board and senior level.
In particular, as UK Head of Digital at VeriFone Media, he brought VNET (the VeriFone Network) – an in-taxi entertainment platform - to London. Reporting into the VP of Media, New York, Jawad managed the regulator, negotiated deals with content providers (including BSKYB, who provided breaking news bulletins to the network) and sold the platform. Brands that advertised on the platform included the majority of the London Olympics 2012 partners and the top OOH sector spenders.
He has also launched digital channels in the Far East and Middle East and, prior to this, he launched his own digital TV channel (MK TV) and ad agency. He started his career as one of the original team that built Vodafone’s business division.
Chris qualified as an ACA in 1981 with KPMG and spent ten years in the accountancy profession, latterly with Ernst & Young, providing financial and business advice to fast-growing entrepreneurial clients from a variety of industries and ranging in size from start-ups to subsidiaries of large overseas operations.
Chris has worked in both public (fully quoted and AIM listed) and private companies as their finance director, managing organic and acquisitive growth. He has been the FD of two venture capital backed buy-outs, one a former FMCG packaging division of Courtaulds, operating in eight countries worldwide and has extensive experience of corporate finance matters, including smaller business acquisitions and disposals, strategic and business planning.
Martin is an experienced, innovative & technical design and product development engineer with over 25 years’ experience in display, digital signage, software & associated computer technologies. Martin has a proven track record of taking product prototypes in display technology for harsh environments through to fully certified manufactured market products. His expertise encompasses Digital Out of Home Advertising, Transport, Aerospace & Manufacturing, including 12 years as the Director of Technology, gained in Digital Out of Home screen networks, digital signage, kiosk, ticketing & passenger Information industries. He also spent 17 Years as the Product Development Manager gained in scientific Instrument and aerospace manufacturing Industries.
Steve Tagg is a seasoned, well-rounded digital media specialist. His roles have included business management, product development and project management.
He brings with him a wealth of experience within the DOOH sector specialising in transport. Leading new projects with TFL. He previously acted as Product Manager at Verifone Media where he managed VNET for the UK, and other digital applications. His experience incorporates, DOOH platforms, mobile apps, Sales force implementation, website management/development & electronic payment systems.
